Men's Soccer Pushes Past Grinnell

LINCOLN, Neb. (September 10, 2023) - Nebraska Wesleyan claimed their fifth win of the season by defeating Grinnell College, 2-0.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED  

  • The Prairie Wolves got things going early as Johnny Le delivered a midfield pass to Alex Kohler, resulting in a goal, 1-0.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan held the Pioneers scoreless for the rest of the first half. 
  • At the 61:09 mark, Eli Rhodes located the lower right corner of the goal, extending the Black and Gold's lead to two, 2-0. 
  • The Prairie Wolves defense continued to dominate for the remainder of the second half.  
  • Zach Weis made three crucial saves, securing Nebraska Wesleyan's 2-0 victory, and notching their fifth win of the season.
