LINCOLN, Neb. (September 10, 2023) - Nebraska Wesleyan defeated Concordia-Moorhead College, 2-1, to give the Prairie Wolves their fourth win of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team managed to score during the first half of the game.
- The Cobbers gained momentum when Gannon Brooks broke the deadlock by finding the net just two minutes into the second half, 0-1.
- The Prairie Wolves made a comeback with a goal scored by Owen Glogowski at the 71:50 mark, leveling the game at 1-1.
- Nebraska Wesleyan gained control minutes later when Owen Glogowski recorded his second goal of the game with an assist from Isaac Havemeier.
- For the remainder of the game, Concordia College was not able to find any offense.
- Zachary Weis recorded two saves to help the Prairie Wolves claim victory over the Cobbers, 2-1.
