HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Nebraska Wesleyan University lost the opener of a three game A-R-C series on the road against Coe College, 1-8.
  • The Prairie Wolves pushed their lone run of the game across in the fourth inning when Noah Unger scored on a Kaleb Knox double.
  • NWU starting pitcher Tyler Romero turned in a good performance allowing two earned runs while striking out eight batters in his six innings of work. 
  • The black and gold struggled defensively, as they committed three errors in total. 
  • Six Prairie Wolves cracked the hit column, however no one in black and gold had multiple hits on the afternoon.
