HOW IT HAPPENED

• Loras took control of the game in the first inning by scoring six runs.
• The Prairie Wolves cut the lead in half in the bottom of the second inning. NWU scored its first run when Dylan Howell scored on an error. Aaron Chazin followed this up with an RBI single. A moment later, Howell would score during a double play.
• Loras extended their lead to four by scoring one run in the fifth inning.
• Nebraska Wesleyan fought back by scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth, but could not tie it up and the game was called due to weather.
