Baseball Clinches Series Sweep Over University of Dallas

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In a game with little offense, starting pitcher Noah Unger stole the show by tossing seven shutout innings.
  • There was only one hit combined between the two teams as the game entered the eighth.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan struck first on an eighth inning Zach Osbahr single which scored Carter Betts. 
  • Later in the inning, Kaleb Knox drove in Osbahr and Hunter Zielasko with a double to put the Prairie Wolves up 3-0.
  • In the ninth, Noah Wing picked up the save and clinched a season opening series sweep.
