HOW IT HAPPENED  

• On Saturday, Loras College secured a 76-89 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan University inside Snyder Arena. 
• The Prairie Wolves held a slim two-point lead for just the opening 15 seconds of the game, managing to tie the game only twice thereafter. 
•  Amun-Ra Collins reduced the deficit between the Prairie Wolves and the Duhawks by two with 51 seconds left in the half, NWU entered the second half trailing by seven, 36-43. 
• The Black and Gold continued to fight for every point during the second half, with NWU improving their three-point shooting by 35.5% compared to the first half. 
• The Prairie Wolves leveled the game at 68-68 with 8:48 left in the second half, thanks to the depth of NWU's bench. Elijah Thatch led the bench with a commanding 10 points and 6 rebounds.  
• Despite the determined efforts of Nebraska Wesleyan, Loras managed to pull away and increase their lead by 13, securing a 76-89 victory.  
• NWU's bench played a pivotal role in Saturday's contest, outscoring Loras' bench 33 to 23.
