HOW IT HAPPENED   

• On Friday evening in the UW-Oshkosh Classic, the Nebraska Wesleyan University men's basketball team beat UW-Oshkosh, 62-54. Peter Lash led the squad with 22 points, while Carter Glenn contributed 21 and Amun-Ra Collins added eight.
• Nebraska Wesleyan had an early 8-2 lead. With less than four minutes remaining in the first half, the Titans had closed the difference to five points, and the score was 23-18. Over the following two minutes of play, the two teams swapped baskets back and forth. Nebraska Wesleyan would go into the half with a five-point lead.
• Nebraska Wesleyan maintained control in the second half, retaking the lead and increasing it to eight points, 51-43, with three minutes remaining. Collins' layup put the Prairie Wolves up by ten points, the largest lead of the evening.
• The Titans did not go away, eventually cutting the margin to single digits. After being fouled on a three-point try, UW-Oshkosh got within two possessions of Nebraska Wesleyan, but couldn't get over the hump in the final minute. Collins sealed the game with a pair of free throws with ten seconds remaining, giving the Prairie Wolves their seventh win in their past eight games.
• Nebraska Wesleyan dominated the rebounding battle 38-31 and outscored the Titans 32-12 in the paint offensively. 
• Nebraska Wesleyan improves to 2-1 all-time versus UW-Oshkosh with tonight's victory.
