LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska Wesleyan fell to Wartburg College, 45-0, Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Prairie Wolves fall to 4-5 (2-5) on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After stopping Nebraska Wesleyan's opening drive, Wartburg went on an eight play, 58 yard drive and scored on a 14 yard pass from Nile McLaughlin to Thomas Butters.
• On Nebraska Wesleyan's ensuing possession, Mac Watts picked off Carter Terry and ran the interception back for a touchdown.
• After forcing a fumble, Wartburg went on a seven play, 58 yard drive and scored on a 13 yard run by Hunter Clasen.
• Early in the second quarter, Wartburg's Thor Maakestad hauled in a 38 yard touchdown reception to put the Knights up 28-0.
• Wartburg would score one more touchdown in the half and took a 35-0 lead into the locker room.
• The Knights continued to play strong defense and tacked on 10 more points in the second half to secure a 45-0 victory.
