Lincoln, Neb- Nebraska Wesleyan fell to Dubuque, 70-41 on Tuesday afternoon. The loss drops Nebraska Wesleyan to 0-4 on the season and 0-1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The first quarter was very competitive with both teams holding the lead. Dubuque went on a late run to go up 15-10. The Spartans scored 10 of their 15 points off of turnovers. 
• Dubuque started to take over in the second quarter, outscoring Nebraska Wesleyan 19-9. The Spartans led the game at halftime 34-19. 
• Dubuque caught fire in the third quarter, shooting over 53% from the floor and over 40% from three. This shooting barrage helped the Spartans extend their lead to 58-26. 
• Nebraska Wesleyan never quit and out scored Dubuque in the fourth quarter 15-12. Despite their effort, the Prairie Wolves fell 70-41.
