A WEEK IN REVIEW
- The Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves went 3-0 on the week and 2-0 inside Snyder Arena, defeating Grinnell in three sets (25-15, 25-18, 25-19) on Monday, Central in three sets (25-15, 25-13, 25-19) on Thursday, and Wartburg in three sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) on Saturday in the senior day match.
- Addie Thomas led the Prairie Wolves with 11 kills, a .171 attack %, four service aces, and 10 digs against the Pioneers on Monday. Molly Ramirez had 10 kills and 11 digs, while Jaclyn Riedl had 10 kills and a .391 attack percentage.
- Thomas led the Prairie Wolves with 13 kills in Thursday's match against the Dutch. For the Prairie Wolves, Molly Ramirez had a team-high two blocks.
- On Saturday, Addie Thomas led the Prairie Wolves with 15 kills, a. 387 attack percentage, one service ace, and six digs against the Knights. Thomas now has over 1,000 career digs as a result of her effort. Molly Ramirez finished with 10 kills and two digs.
- Fans crowded Snyder for a huge week inside the arena. The 204 people that showed up on Saturday were the most this season.
HISTORY VS. DUBUQUE
- The Prairie Wolves and Spartans will meet for the 17th time, with the overall series knotted at 8-8.
- Dubuque has won the previous seven meetings against Nebraska Wesleyan, and they have been unbeaten in the series since 2017. The Prairie Wolf last defeated the Spartans in four sets on October 7, 2016 in Dubuque, Iowa (26-24, 25-13, 21-25, 25-21).
- The Prairie Wolves fell to the Spartans in the 2022 A-R-C tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 1 in Dubuque.
