Women's Soccer Suffers Loss to Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to score against the University of Dubuque Spartans Saturday afternoon, ending in a 0-2 loss. 
  • The Spartans took the lead quick, scoring in the eighth minute on a corner kick, 0-1.
  • The Prairie Wolves reacted well, staying aggressive and taking five shots throughout the rest of the first period. 
  • The Black and Gold's offense was contained in the second period with Lexi Jantzen attempting the only two shots for the Prairie Wolves.. 
  • The Spartans secured the win with a second goal late in the second period, 0-2.
