Men's Soccer Unable to Complete Late Comeback

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Both teams exhibited strong defensive play in the opening 45 minutes, leading to a scoreless first period.
  • The Storms initiated the scoring with a goal at the 56:53 mark. 
  • Simpson maintained their momentum and secured their second goal of the evening at the 57:51 mark, extending the score to 0-2. 
  • Owen Glowgoski kick-started NWU's momentum with a goal at the 79:57 mark, narrowing the score to 1-2. 
  • Despite the Prairie Wolves' commendable efforts, they were unable to find the back of the net for the remainder of the second half, resulting in a 1-2 final score.
