Mens Soccer Battles to a Draw Against the University of Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • An early foul in the box resulted in the Spartans taking an early 0-1 lead in the first half. 
  • Owen Glogowski initiated the scoring for the Black and Gold by converting a penalty kick at the 34:30 mark. 
  • The Spartans extended their lead to 1-2 by scoring a late goal in the first half. 
  • Alex Aguilar hit the back of the net at the 73:09 mark bringing the score to an even 2-2. 
  • The Black and Gold maintained solid defense, preventing Dubuque from scoring for the rest of the second half. 
  • After Aguilars' goal, neither team managed to score, ending the game at a 2-2 tie.
