Men's Basketball Falls at Home to Dubuque

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • In Snyder Arena on Saturday, Nebraska Wesleyan lost to Dubuque 75-61 despite Carter Glenn's 18 points and two rebounds and Peter Lash's 15 points and ten rebounds.
  • At halftime, the Prairie Wolves were behind 18–31. Only 7 of the first 23 shots were made by NWU, who completed the game shooting 43.4 percent from the field.
  • Back to back threes by Glenn cut the Spartan lead to single digits with 3:04 remaining. The Spartans responded however and knocked down their free throws down the stretch to seal the game. 
  • The Prairie Wolves honored their six seniors prior to the game. Seniors Mark Dolan, Thomas Hunt, Connnor Riekenburg, Josh Rodgers, and Tyler Unger all got the start for the contest, with Walker Andrew playing 31 minutes off the bench.
