HOW IT HAPPENED

• Alex Kohler got things going for the Prairie Wolves in the 6th minute of the first period. The junior connected for his second goal of the season, 1-0.
• The Saints tied things up late in the first period, the 42nd minute to exact, 1-1.
• With little time left on the board, Logan Clark showed why he can do more than just play on the back line. The sophomore advanced to the front line and netted a ball giving his team the lead at halftime, 2-1. 
• NWU's offense picked up where they left off after the break and in the 63rd minute, Thomas Distefano found the net and extended things to 3-1. 
• St. Scholastica didn't go away, scoring back-to-back goals in the 79th and 82nd minute. 
• The Prairie Wolves were unable to regain the lead before time expired and Saturday's nonconference game ended in a tie.
