Barrows Shines as Women's Basketball Tops Kansas Christian

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • It was a team effort with Ellie Barrows at the center of the action. Three Prairie Wolf players scored ten or more points.
  • The Prairie Wolves dominated defensively, forcing 24 turnovers and notching 12 steals.
  • Barrows led Nebraska Wesleyan in scoring with 24 points. In the second half, she caught fire behind the arc finishing the game 6-10 from three.
  • Junior Anna Vandenack dominated the low post, especially on the defensive end of the court. The 5-9 forward collected seven points, seven rebounds, and three steals. 
  • Nebraska Wesleyan had 11 points off the bench, five of which came from guard Piper Graham, in her NWU debut.
  • Interim Head Coach Tyler Bullock recorded his win as a Prairie Wolf. Nebraska Wesleyan defeated Kansas Christian College, 65-55.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan is now 2-0 all-time against the Falcons.
