Football Falls to No. 17 Wartburg

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Wartburg started the game firing on all cylinders, as they scored touchdowns on all of their opening five possessions. 
  • The Prairie Wolves' defensive highlight came in the second quarter when Jacob Gramann picked off Nile McLaughlin to give NWU some momentum. 
  • Running Back Trystin Myers was the star of the offense on the afternoon. He ran for 104 yards on 21 attempts, and also added four catches for 20 more yards.
  • The Prairie Wolves were solid on third down, converting on five of their fifteen opportunities. However, the Knights stifling defense limited the P-Wolf offense to just one red-zone appearance.
  • Saturday's game came to a close with a final score of 0-65.
