UC-Santa Cruz

• The Prairie Wolves came out hot in set number one. The Prairie Wolves never trailed in set one. The Prairie Wolves downed seven first-set kills, 25-18. 
• The Banana Slugs responded winning sets two and three. 25-22, 25-9. 
• In the fourth set, the Banana Slugs got out to a fast 5-1 start. The Prairie Wolves were able to crawl back into it throughout the set. The set was tied at 17-17 before the Prairie Wolves went on an 8-2 run to even it at two sets apiece. 
• The first few points of set number five were back and forth before Santa Cruz went on a 9-1 run to win it 15-5. 

Susquehanna

• The Prairie Wolves scored the first five points of the match, but Susquehanna would crawl back into it. The set was tied at 22, but the Prairie Wolves would win it 25-23. 
• The second began with a tie score of 6-6, but the Susquehanna River Hawks quickly pulled away to lead Nebraska Wesleyan 14-10. The Prairie Wolves were unable to close the gap and the River Hawks took set two. 
• Set three began with Susquehanna and Nebraska Wesleyan trading points, but neither side was able to pull away by more than four points as the set went on. The Prairie Wolves tied the set at 15, but the River Hawks outscored NWU 10-6 to finish the set. 
• Nebraska Wesleyan blew up set four early jumping out to a quick 12-4 lead. Susquehanna looked to close the gap, but the Prairie Wolves took home set four 25-17 to tie it up at 2-2 heading into set five.
• Nebraska Wesleyan took an early 5-1 lead, but a 6-2 run from the River Hawks Hawks quickly tied it at 7-7. With kills from Addie Thomas and Shae Gallery, the Prairie Wolves kept up the battle, increasing the advantage to two at 11-9. The Prairie Wolves kept it rolling scoring the final four points of the match to win 15-9.
