Concordia Trips Up Prairie Wolves In Texas Roadtrip Finale


AUSTIN, Texas (September 5, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer fell on the road to Concordia University (Texas), 1-0, in Austin, Texas. 

A goal right before halftime proved to be just enough for the Tornados to trip up the Prairie Wolves in the last match of their Texas roadtrip. NWU tried to close the gap in the second half but ran into another tough defensive backline. Concordia only allowed Nebraska Wesleyan to take one shot in the second half. 

For the match, the Prairie Wolves were limited to just four shots with two of those shots being on goal. Caden Linsea and Varun Doshi each had a shot on goal with Brandon Harper and Alex Aguilar having a shot apiece. Zach Weis tallied 12 saves in goal for NWU.
