Pioneers Down Prairie Wolves


PLATTEVILLE, Wisc. (September 18, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer fell on the road to Wiscosin-Platteville, 5-0. 

Leslie Borges tallied 18 saves in the game for NWU. The 18 saves are a career-high for Borges. Nebraska Wesleyan recorded six shots with four shots on goal as a team. Olivia Munroe took three of the team's six shots and two of the shots on goal. Hannah Holles, Christina Oleartchick, and Hannah Ernst each took one shot in the game as well.

The Pioneers used three goals in the first half and never looked back to defeat the Prairie Wolves. UWP then added two insurance goals in the second half.
