LINCOLN, Neb. (October 9, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball looked like it would hand Coe College its first conference loss this season but fell, 3-1, in Snyder Arena.

NWU cruised to victory in the first set, 25-20. The Prairie Wolves smashed 17 of their 50 kills in the first set and hit .368 for the set. The Kohawks answered by winning the next two sets.

In the fourth set, Nebraska Wesleyan led 17-12 after a Nyah Chambers kill but a Coe rally made it a 21-20 Prairie Wolf lead. Sidney Hauptman dropped a kill to push the lead back to a two-point advantage. However, it would be the last time NWU would score as the Kohawks stormed back to win.

Addie Thomas led Nebraska Wesleyan with 16 kills and Mackenzie Scurto added 13 kills. Kennady Klein had 18 digs and a game-high three aces. Hauptman and Thomas each recorded two block assists.
