Luther Halts Women’s Soccer


DECORAH, Iowa (October 9, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer was defeated on the road by Luther College, 6-0, in Decorah, Iowa. The loss halted the Prairie Wolves momentum after defeating Buena Vista, 3-0, on Wednesday, October 6. 

The Norse netted three goals in the first half then added three more in the second half. Luther cooled off Nebraska Wesleyan's offense and held them to just one shot attempt. In its win over BVU on Wednesday, NWU took 25 shots. 

Leslie Borges was credited with five saves and Liz Wolf added one save. Anden Baumann tallied the Prairie Wolves shot attempt.
