DECORAH, Iowa (October 9, 2021) - Luther College defeated the Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team by a score of 7-0. The loss stopped NWU's momentum after defeating Buena Vista, 3-1, on Wednesday, October 6.

The Norse registered a pair of goals in the first half then had five goals in the second half. The Prairie Wolves applied pressure on LC in the first half with three shot attempts but were unable to connect for a goal. In the second half, Luther was able to adjust and hold NWU to just one shot attempt.

Alex Kohler tallied two shots for Nebraska Wesleyan with Alex Aguilar and Jeffrey Klopf II each taking a shot. Zachary Weis was credited with six saves in goal for the Prairie Wolves.
