Men’s Soccer Falls In Regular Season Finale, Faces Loras In A-R-C Tourney


INDIANOLA, Iowa (October 26, 2021) - The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team fell on the road, 4-0, to Simpson College.

Simpson scored two goals in both the first and second halves. NWU battled SC throughout the game, only taking four fewer shots. The Prairie Wolves were credited with 12 shots, seven of those were in the second half. 

With its postseason fate and seed secured, Nebraska Wesleyan had a variety of lineups in the match. Six different Prairie Wolves registered at least one shot attempt and NWU also used two goalkeepers in the match. 

Brandon Harper tied for a match best four shot attempts with Caleb Vos taking two shots for Nebraska Wesleyan. Zachary Weis tallied five saves in only one-half of work in the NWU net. 

UP NEXT
The Prairie Wolves play in the American Rivers Conference Tournament on Saturday, October 30. NWU will travel to Dubuque, Iowa for a quarterfinal match with Loras.
