LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team ushered in the Coach
Brandon Bonilla era in style on Sunday (Sept. 2) as the Prairie Wolves defeated Concordia-Moorhead 2-1 in the 2018 opener at Abel Stadium.
Coach Bonilla earns his first career victory as a head coach after spending last year as an assistant coach for the Prairie Wolves.

It didn't take long for the Prairie Wolves to respond as they scored less than one minute later.
Tyler Daveline scored the initial goal of the season off an assist from
Aaron Onion. That tied the match at 1-1 and the score would remain tied to close out the half.
The Prairie Wolves took the lead in the 64
th minute when senior
Jake Kennedy found the back of the net for what would be the game-winning goal. Kennedy, last season's leading scorer, scored off an assist from
David Zink.
