Semifinals Saturday Showdown in Snyder Arena

LINCOLN, -- 20th-ranked Nebraska Wesleyan will host 18th-ranked Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 27) in the GPAC Men's Basketball Postseason Tournament Semifinals.  Tip-off between the Prairie Wolves and Tigers is set for 3 PM in Snyder Arena on the NWU campus.

Nebraska Wesleyan is the No. 2 seed for the tournament with Dakota Wesleyan entering as the No. 3 seed.  Saturday's winner will advance to the GPAC Tournament Championship Game on Tuesday night (Mar. 1).  Should top-seeded Briar Cliff advance on the other side of the bracket, the NWU-DWU winner would earn an automatic bid to the NAIA II National Tournament in Point Lookout, Mo.

This is the third meeting between the Prairie Wolves and Tigers as the teams split their season series.  NWU and DWU are two of the top four 3-point shooting teams in the nation and combined to make 68 3-pointers in the first two games.
