Box Score WAVERLY, Iowa – Wartburg College scored four first half goals to defeat the Nebraska Wesleyan University men's soccer team 4-0 on Saturday in the IIAC regular season finale for the Prairie Wolves.
The Knights (12-5-1) scored early and often as Kimu Kasha scored two goals in the first 20 minutes of the match. Wartburg added two more goals in the first half with Ayo Adebayo and Paris Martins scoring in the first 33 minutes of the match.
Nebraska Wesleyan had 12 total shots in the match, with only three shots on goal. Wartburg finished the match with 18 total shots, including 13 in the first half.
For the Prairie Wolves, they fall to 6-7-3 overall and 2-6 in IIAC action dropping their fourth straight conference match to end the year.
NWU will have one final regular season match on October 28 when they host Lincoln Christian University on Senior Day at Abel Stadium.
