Box Score 2 CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball team had a very successful weekend at the North Park University Tournament in Chicago. NWU went a perfect 4-0 over the weekend, including two easy wins on Saturday.
The Prairie Wolves swept past both Alverno and Manchester on Saturday morning, winning both in scores of 3-0.
Against Alverno, NWU cruised to the 3-0 win in scores of 25-5, 25-11, 25-19. Nebraska Wesleyan finished with 35 kills and just four attack errors in the three set victory.
Malory Dahl led the Prairie Wolves with nine kills in the match while
Kierra Harder added six.
Hanna Ehmke dished out 15 assists and
Kennedy Hegert led the team with 15 digs.
In the final match of the tournament, NWU defeated Manchester University in scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-20. NWU pounded out 35 kills in the three sets with only eight errors.
Dahl had 10 kills to once again lead the Prairie Wolves in that category.
Mackenzie Allen had seven kills and no errors. Ehmke had 17 assists and Hegert led the team with 15 digs.
Nebraska Wesleyan will open GPAC play this week with a match at College of Saint Mary and the home opener on Saturday against Hastings.
