Box Score
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska Wesleyan scored its season high goal total as the NWU men blasted past Mount Marty College, 7-3, in GPAC men's soccer action late Saturday night (Sept. 27) at Abel Stadium.

NWU evens their record at 4-4 overall and 1-1 in GPAC while Mount Marty falls to 2-7, 0-2 GPAC.

Drew Miller got the scoring started for the Prairie Wolves as he scored in the 14th minute.  Just over three minutes later, the Lancers answered right back with a goal to tie the match at 1-1.

From there, NWU added two more goals before halftime intermission.  Will Weber was in front of the goal and scored on a rebound after Brady Blazek's goal hit off the crossbar.  The final goal of the half came from Chris Larsen off a cross with less than a minute left before halftime.

In the second half, the scoring continued as Alex Thorson nailed a goal from over 20 yards out to put NWU up 4-1.  Mount Marty came back two minutes later with a header from James Elliot to pull within two goals, but that was as close as they would get.

Chase Grossman, Taylor Katt and Ben Wright all added second half goals for the Prairie Wolves men while Mount Marty got one late goal to make the final score 7-3.
