LINCOLN, Neb. -- In one of their most dominant performances of the season, the Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer team shutout Coe College, 3-0, on Monday night (Oct. 13) at Abel Stadium.
The Prairie Wolves (5-7) out shot the Kohawks (3-11) by an advantage of 19-1 as they dominated the match the entire way controlling the ball over the field.
NWU got on the board first in the 30th minute as
Phil Volk scored his first goal of the season. Volk scored on a header off a beautiful assist from
Alex Thorson. Less than one minute later the Prairie Wolves got on the board again as
Brady Blazek had a loose ball right at his feet in front of the goal and put it in the open net.
Nebraska Wesleyan led 2-0 at intermission but didn't stop there. The Prairie Wolves added another goal in the second half as Blazek sent a deep pass in front of the goal and

It was the first of three matches for the NWU men this week as they are right back in action on Wednesday night to face Concordia University at Abel Stadium.
