Nebraska Wesleyan will play host to Briar Cliff University in the 2013 homecoming football game on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon in Lincoln. Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and Chargers is set for 1 pm at Abel Stadium.

Both teams enter Saturday's contest looking for their first win of the year. NWU has dropped a pair of games to nationally-ranked opponents to start the year, while BCU lost to Benedictine and was blown out by Dakota Wesleyan in their GPAC opener.NWU scored their first touchdown of the season in the fourth quarter last week, but will be facing a Charger defense that ranks in the bottom 10 of the NAIA in both scoring defense and total defense.Fans can catch all the action live on a video webcast from the NWU Sports Network with Jeff Motz and Lucas Mohrman calling the action. The game can also be heard on KFOR 1240 AM with the voice of the Prairie Wolves Dick Janda.
