In the first six minutes of the second half, NWU went on a 23-6 run to take a 66-42 lead and they cruised the rest of the way.

Senior forward Trevor Johnson continued his solid play to start the year as he scored 19 points and was named the Classic MVP.  Johnson was 7-8 from the floor, had eight rebounds and four assists.
