Box Score Nebraska Wesleyan pounded out 45 total kills with a hitting percentage over 40 percent as the Prairie Wolves made quick work of Mount Marty College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 26) in Yankton, S.D. NWU won in scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-15.
Heading into the final week of the regular season, NWU is 19-7 overall and 9-5 in the GPAC to sit alone in fifth place in the league standings.
NWU had one of their best hitting days of the season as they had only seven attack errors in the match as a team. The lone blemish was the six service errors.
Leading the way was junior
Alyssa Stanek who had 15 kills and hit .538 in the match. Stanek also had five total blocks as she led the Prairie Wolves with 18.5 points.
Bridget Bucher tallied nine kills, with
Malory Dahl adding eight.
Mount Marty hit only .083 as a team with just 29 kills. Allison Cross led the Lancers with eight kills.
