Lynch became NWU’s 13th women’s soccer head coach after taking the helm in June of 2025.
Prior to leading the Prairie Wolves, Lynch spent two seasons as the Associate Head Coach at Clarke University (2023-24) and an Assistant Coach prior (2017-2022) in Dubuque, Iowa. During his tenure, he was a key architect in the Pride's consistent success, helping guide the program to five consecutive Heart of America Athletic Conference tournament appearances. He was instrumental in managing and developing a robust roster that grew to 62 student-athletes, including the successful launch of a reserve team in 2020. Under his guidance, Clarke saw multiple student-athletes earn All-Conference honors and achieve significant academic success.
Lynch's impactful leadership was particularly evident during his season as head coach at Iowa Wesleyan University in 2022. He orchestrated a historic turnaround, leading the program to its highest single-season win percentage ever and securing their first winning season in over a decade. The team also fielded its largest roster in school history, reflecting Lynch's ability to attract and develop talent.
His collegiate coaching journey began at Benedictine University, where he served as an assistant coach (2015-2017). There, he was pivotal in rejuvenating the Eagles' program, helping them return to the NACC Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade and contributing to the development of an offense that ranked among the conference's best.
Before his collegiate career, Lynch built competitive programs at the high school level. He notably led Independence High School to its first-ever state tournament appearance. He also guided Dubuque Senior High School to its first winning season.
He holds a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Clarke University and a bachelor's in Exercise Science from Upper Iowa University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and possesses a U.S. Soccer Federation E License.
