Jose Hernandez enters his first season with the Prairie Wolves in 2026-27 after a successful stint at Southeast Community College. The York University alum has a breadth of experience across various levels of the sport.
He formerly served as the Head Coach for Southeast Community College (2025-26) and was an assistant coach at SCC from 2023-25. Among other impressive feats in his head coaching career, Hernandez helped win the Nebraska State Cup Championship with Villarreal Nebraska Academy in 2024.
At the club level, Hernandez has been the director at Villarreal Nebraska Academy (2022-24), 402 Development Academy (2024-25), and Lincoln City FC (2025-26).
