Erin Dwyer joined Nebraska Wesleyan University in March of 2023 as the Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator. Dwyer joins the Prairie Wolves after serving as the Director of Championships & Sport Administration for the Middle Atlantic Conference for four years.
While at the MAC, Dwyer coordinated the conference's 40 championships and supported the administration of its 27 sports. She also oversaw the MAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), MAC Women's Leadership Symposium, and logistics of other MAC events including NCAA championship events, #MACunited Series - More than an Athlete, and the MAC Mental Health Symposiums. Dwyer joined the as the Assistant Director as part of the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority and Women's Internship grant.
Dwyer joined the MAC from the University of Iowa where she served as a graduate teaching assistant while completing her Sport and Recreation Management Masters’ Degree in 2019. While at Iowa, Erin also worked for RedZone Football Academy as an operations and marketing intern helping to expand the footprint and operational aspects of the youth football organization.
Prior to graduate school, Erin worked for the Kansas City Sports Commission as an event management intern helping run the Kansas City Marathon, Big 12 Basketball tournaments, and NCAA Division II Football and Soccer Championships. Dwyer helped provide marketing and event management aspects for the 2017 US Figure Skating Championships held in Kansas City. While in Kansas City, Dwyer also worked for the MLS soccer team, Sporting Kansas City in the retail management department providing inventory support and customer relations through day-to-day operations.
Dwyer earned her Bachelors of Science degree in sports management and marketing from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2016 while participating in softball as a student-athlete and being a member of the Lopers' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
