Nebraska Wesleyan University Athletics

2026 marks the first season for Chris Mellott as an assistant coach with the Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer program, working alongside head coach Robert Lynch.

Prior to joining NWU, Mellott served as a club coach with Gretna Elite Academy since 2019, working primarily with U19 and younger female athletes. He played an instrumental role in developing college-bound prospects while designing comprehensive training plans, coordinating player evaluation and recruitment, and managing scheduling, travel logistics and team administration for tournaments and league competition.

Mellott earned his bachelor's degree from Briar Cliff University, where he also played collegiate soccer.
