2017-18: Earned his first varsity letter in wrestling … ended the season with three victories … took part at the DIII Lower Midwest Regional at 157 pounds … wrestled in two duals …was in the NWU lineup at 157 pounds in dual versus Buena Vista .
Academic: Biology major.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner in wrestling at Lincoln Pius X … helped lead the Thunderbolts to the 2012 State Championships … recorded over 100 career victories.
Personal: Born 12/12/93, son of Gene and Beth Nickman … transferred to NWU from Minnesota West Community College.
