Stephanie Anderson

Stephanie Anderson is in her fourth season at Nebraska Wesleyan for her second stint as an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program.  She also served as an assistant coach for the Prairie Wolves during the 2007 and 2008 seasons. 
 
Anderson came back to NWU as an assistant after most recently serving as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at NCAA Division II Bloomsburg University from 2012-14.  In her time at Bloomsburg she guided the team to a 22-27-4 record playing in one of the most competitive NCAA II conferences.  Under her tutelage, seven players were named to the PSAC All-Conference teams and three were named NSCAA All-Region.  The Huskies also received the NSCAA Team Academic Award in each of her three seasons as head coach.
 
She arrived at Bloomsburg after serving as the assistant coach at NCAA Division I Bucknell University in 2011.  She previously served as a graduate assistant for two years at NCAA II Drury University in Missouri.  She got her coaching start at Nebraska Wesleyan as an assistant coach.
 
During her time as a player at Nebraska Wesleyan, Anderson was a three-year captain and four-year starter playing in 73 games.  She helped the Prairie Wolves achieve an overall record of 50-18-5 (.719) as a player, including back-to-back GPAC regular season titles in 2005 and 2006.  The Prairie Wolves won 26 straight home matches, which was the second longest active streak in NCAA III soccer.
 
Anderson ranks 9th all-time in career goals with 32.  She was a three-time All-Conference selection earning 2nd-Team All-GPAC in 2005 & 2006 and honorable mention in 2004.  She was named the team offensive team MVP as a sophomore and senior.
 
She earned a degree in psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan in 200.  She earned a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Change at Drury University.  She holds a National USSF “D” License and has taken part in both the NCAA Leadership Symposium and the NCAA Women’s Coaching Academy.  She also attended the Algarve Cup Coaching Symposium in Portugal.
