Piera Rezza begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Prairie Wolves in the 2018 season. She brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise as a pitching and catching coach to the Prairie Wolves staff.
Rezza, a native of Sicely, Italy, came to the United States in 2015. She has served as club softball coach in Lincoln and also is a clinician for pitchers and catchers in the area.
She played professional softball from 1997-2011 in Italy. In 2008 she was given the No. 1 catcher in Italy Award and was selected as the No. 1 catcher at the Spain Tournament in 2009. She earned a bronze medal in 2010 as the best player in Southern Italy.
