Jennie Harp is in her first season as an assistant softball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Harp comes to NWU after previously serving as the head softball coach at Pitt Community College in North Carolina from 2016-19. Her team made back-to-back NJCAA DII World Series Appearances in 2017 and 2018. During that time, she had four student athletes receive All-America recognition, coached the Region 10 Player of the Year and Region 10 Pitcher of the Year. She had 11 players who were 1st-Team All-Region performers. Harp was named the Region 10 Coach of the Year in 2017 and 2019.
Prior to Pitt C.C., Harp was an assistant coach at St. Andrews University (N.C.) for one season and was associate head coach at Richard Bland College (Va.) from 2013-15.
