2019: Scored points for the Prairie Wolves at both the indoor and outdoor conference championships … just missed All-Conference honors finishing 4^th in the Mile at the American Rivers Indoor Meet … at the outdoor championships was 6^th in the 1500 and 7^th in the 5000 … a 2^nd-Team CoSIDA Academic All-American for track and cross country … competed at the Drake Relays in the 5,000 and finished 11^th … ran personal best time of 14:54.62 at Drake … won the 1500 and 5000 at the NWU-Doane dual meet … also won the 1500 and 3000 at the Central/Simpson Tri-Meet … in his first meet of the year won the Mile at the Fred Beile Indoor Classic … a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection a second straight season … named to American Rivers All-Academic team.

2018: Placed in the top ten in two different events at the 2018 IIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships … scored points by finishing 7^th in the 1,500 meters … just outside of scoring with his 9^th place finish in the 5,000 … ran a new personal best time of 15:18.84 in the 5,000 at the IIAC Outdoor meet … won both the 1,500 and 5,000 in the triangular with Simpson and Central … was the individual champion in the 5,000 at the Concordia Outdoor Invite in first meet of outdoor season … ran the last chance Wartburg qualifier for only indoor competition … named to IIAC All-Academic team.

2017: Finished in the top eight in the 10,000 meters at the 2017 IIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships … placed 8^th at the IIAC outdoor meet in the 10,000 … ran a season-best time of 15:49.98 to win the 5,000 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invite … ran the 5,000 meters at three different meets … did not compete during the indoor portion of the schedule as he was competing on the NWU men’s swimming team.

Academic: Accounting major.

In High School: A three-time state medalist at the 2016 Nebraska State Track Meet … ran on Class A state championship 4x800 relay team … finished as Class A state runner-up in the 1,600 meters … an 8-time state track medalist … holds the Omaha Burke HS school record in the 1,600 at 4:16 … a three-time state qualifier in cross country … placed in the top ten twice, including a 4^th place finish in 2014 … two-time All-State selection in cross country … also participated in swimming.

Personal: Born 6/1/98, son of Tim and Julie Vasquez … also a member of NWU men’s cross country and swimming teams.
