2018: Played in his first varsity match at No. 3 doubles to earn his second varsity letter … won at No. 3 doubles with Jared Scherling over Dubuque in the final match of the year … didn’t appear in a varsity singles match … named to IIAC All-Academic Team.
2017: Did not compete in a varsity match as a freshman.
In High School: Earned three varsity letters in tennis at Bellevue East HS … an Academic All-State performer … also selected to the Metro All-Academic team … was 8-17 overall … also participated in basketball and baseball.
Academic: Political Science major.
Personal: Born 5/28/98, son of Kevin Hensel and Laurie Hensel.
