Zach Northey

Zach Northey is in his second season helping his father Dave as an assistant coach with the Nebraska Wesleyan men’s tennis team.
 
Northey brings an impressive resume of playing and coaching to the NWU men’s tennis program.  He is currently playing professional tennis and gives tennis lessons to youth in the city of Lincoln.
 
He began his playing career at Lincoln East High School playing varsity tennis for two years.  Northey then moved to Irvine, California to attend the Advantage Tennis Academy.  He went on to graduate from Creekside High School.  Following his prep career, Northey began playing on the professional Futures Tour.
 
Northey attended Tyler Junior College in Texas where he was an All-American in both singles and doubles action in 2015.  He earned a degree in tennis management.  Northey went on to win the Florida Nationals tournament where he earned two prestigious gold balls.
 
In the summer of 2017, Northey was the men’s champion at both the Lincoln Open and Omaha Open.  He is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry.
