Lee Steinbrook is entering his sixth year with the Prairie Wolves in 2025. Lee was hired to be the head coach of the Nebraska Wesleyan men's tennis program in May 2019, then took on the duties of the head coach for the women's tennis program in December 2019.

In his first year as head coach of the Prairie Wolves, Steinbrook had an abbreviated season that was cut short due to the COVID-19 global health pandemic. His men’s team played just three duals going 0-3 during the spring 2020 season. Year two of the Steinbrook era saw the NWU's men squad narrowly missed out of the postseason after a pair of conference wins. The 2020-2021 season was limited short to eight conference-only matches due to the COVID-19 global health pandemic. Ryan Carey and Max Rademacher were both selected to the All-Conference team after the completion of the 2021 season. The 2022 men's team posted a 4-12 record and an American Rivers Conference Tournament birth. Ryan Carey and Will Olson were both selected to the All-Conference team in 2022. In 2022-23, the Prairie Wolves finished at 4-8. Ryan Carey was named All-Conference in singles and doubles.
The women did not officially compete during the spring season of Steinbrook's first season, the next season was limited to seven matches due to the COVID-19 global health pandemic. After the 2020-21 season, Brooke Sailer was named All-Conference for the second straight season. In 2022, Steinbrook guided the Prairie Wolves women's squad to a 1-13 overall record. Brooke Sailor was named All-A-R-C for the third consecutive season after recording a winning record at the top singles slot. The women's squad received five selections to the All-ARC Academic squad in 2022–2023. The Prairie Wolves had an 8-4 record in 2022–23. Brooke Sailer received her fourth All-Conference honor in the top singles position.Â

Steinbrook has been heavily involved coaching and teaching tennis in the city of Lincoln for the past 15 years. He spent 13 years as the Tennis Director at Lincoln Country Club growing the program from 20 kids to over 150 when he left in 2017. He is the founder of the Lee Steinbrook Tennis Academy where he coached and developed kids from 2007-17. During that time, his players won over 200 Nebraska High School State Tennis medals including over 50 gold and silver medals.

He is a 1996 graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earning a degree in education. Steinbrook was a letterwinner in basketball for the Cornhuskers playing from 1993-95.
