Biography
2016-17: Had a terrific junior season losing just one individual race all year … named to the Liberal Arts All-Championship team in seven events … won 17 individual races … won two Liberal Arts Championships and was runner-up in one individual race … swam on four second place relay teams at the championship meet … was the IIAC Swimmer of the Week six different times as a junior … also was Liberal Arts Championship and CollegeSwiming.com swimmer of the week once … set three new individual school records and swam on three school record relay teams … swam NCAA ‘B’ Cut times in the 200 IM, the 200 Fly and the 100 Fly … received IIAC Male Athlete of the Week recognition in February … was IIAC Champion in three events.
2015-16: Became first All-American in NWU history … placed 8th at NCAA III Championships in 200 breaststroke … swam two other races at NCAA III Championships placing 21st in both 100 Fly and 100 Breast … named 2016 Liberal Arts Championships Male Swimmer of the Meet … won three individual events at the LAC (100 Fly, 100 Breast, 200 Breast) … named to Liberal Arts Championship team in three individual events and four relay events … twice named CollegeSwimming.com Swimmer-of-the-Week … three times was Liberal Arts Championships Swimmer of the Week … set four new individual school records … was on five school record relay teams … won at least two events at every meet of the year … broke eight year old pool records at the Morningside dual.
2014-15: Had an outstanding first season for the Prairie Wolves … was a double winner at the Liberal Arts Championships … named to All-Championship team in three different events … achieved an NCAA B Cut … won 15 different races throughout the season … set school records in eight different individual events … was part of school records in all five relays … at the Liberal Arts Championships was the champion in the 100 Fly and 200 Breast … won a race at every meet … was lone NWU swimmer to win a race at Grinnell Invite winning the 100 Fly.
Academic: Health & Fitness Studies major.
In High School: A two-time State Champion at the Nebraska State Swim Meet … won the Class B title in the 100 Fly in 2012 and 2014 … placed third in the 200 IM in 2014 and the 100 breast in 2013 … part of state runner-up 200 Free Relay team in 2013 … had career best time of 49.52 in the 100 Free, 1:53.76 in the 200 IM and 57.37 in the 100 Breast … earned four letters in swimming at Omaha Gross Catholic HS.
