Biography

2015: An honorable mention All-GPAC selection at goalkeeper for the second consecutive season … chosen 1st-Team AD3I All-Independent and the AD3I Co-Goalkeeper of the Year … posted eight shutouts in her junior year … ranked second in the GPAC with eight shutouts … allowed only 1.61 goals per match … had 76 saves to continue climb up the NWU all-time charts … started every match at goalkeeper … did not allow a goal in five straight GPAC matches … named 1st-Team CoSIDA Academic All-District … also a Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete and Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2014: Honorable mention All-GPAC as a goalkeeper … also named First-Team All-Independent and AD3I Co-Goalkeeper of the Year … allowed just 0.83 goals per match … ranked third in the GPAC in goals against average … posted four shutouts and two more combined shutouts … allowed just one goal in the first five matches … received AD3I Player of the Week recognition after first week of the season … finished with 64 saves … moved up the NWU top 10 charts for saves and shutouts …  also named honorable mention All-Nebraska by the World Herald … a Pflieger-Olson Scholar Athlete.

2013: Started 18 matches at goalkeeper for the Prairie Wolves in her first season … posted seven shutouts on the year … had a goals against average of 0.94 to rank second in the GPAC … allowed just 18 goals on the season … had 69 saves on the season … tied season-high with 11 saves in 0-0 shutout tie versus Midland on Oct. 30 … also had 11 saves in 1-1 tie versus Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Sept. 7. 

Academic: Elementary Education major.

In High School: Started at goalkeeper for two seasons at Lincoln Northeast HS … set the school record for most saves in a career, in a season and in a game … was named the Female Athlete of the Year … lettered three times in softball and three times in basketball.

Personal: Born 5/29/1995, daughter of Jon and Amy Francis … also a member of NWU softball team … was a CoSIDA Academic All-American in softball in 2015… brother Tyler Francis was all-time leader passer for NWU football team from 2012-14.
