Biography

2018-19: American Rivers Conference Player of the Year winning the conference championships as a sophomore … helped NWU win their second straight team title … named to the PING Division III All-Central Region team … was selected the A-R-C Men’s Golfer of the Week in back-to-back weeks during the conference championships … won two tournaments and had seven top 10 finishes … improve his season stroke average to 75.45 … set NWU record with 63 birdies during the year … shot 67 in round two of Augsburg Invite for second best round in NWU history … won the Augsburg Invite with a total of 139 … in the spring shot 68 in opening round of West Region Invite … ended up 5th at the three-day invite … at the NCAA III Championships shot 86-76 improving his score by ten strokes on day two … during American Rivers Championships shot 72-72-74 to win individual medalist honors by four strokes. 

2017-18: Earned a spot in the varsity top five as a freshman … helped the Prairie Wolves win conference championship and earn a spot at nationals … shot 76 at NCAA III Championships on day one for team low honors and finished tied for 113th (76-80) … just missed earning All-Conference honors by tying for 12th at IIAC Championships … shot 73 in round four of IIAC Championships to secure team title … had a season stroke average of 77.94 competing in 10 tournaments … low round of the year was 72 on day two of Gustavus Twin Cities Classic.  

Academic: Business Administration major.

In High School: A two-time state medalist in golf at Aurora HS … helped lead the Huskies to the Class B 2017 State championship … placed 4th individually as a senior at the state meet … tied for 14th at the 2016 state meet … named Super State and All-State as a senior … also an All-District selection … a four-year letterwinner in football … part of state runner-up football team … an Academic All-State selection … member of National Honor Society. 

Personal: Born 8/28/98, son of Mark and Trish Kubik … older sister Kaylee Kubik was a four-year letterwinner in women’s golf at NWU from 2012-16.
