Ryan Tegtmeier joins the Prairie Wolves men’s basketball staff for his first season as an assistant coach in 2019-20.
Tegtmeier spent the past two seasons as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Blue Hill High School. Last season he led the team to the Nebraska Class D-2 State Tournament, the school’s first appearance since 1984. In two seasons, he led Blue Hill to a 33-18 record, the most wins in a two-year period in school history.
He played college basketball at Morningside College from 2013-17 where he was a four-year starter for the Mustangs leaving as the 10th-leading scorer in program history with 1,349 points. A three-time All-GPAC selection, he helped lead Morningside to two NAIA II National Tournament Appearances.
Tegtmeier currently lives in Lincoln and is a 6th Grade Social Studies/Science teacher at Schoo Middle School.
