Mak Krause is entering his third season at Nebraska Wesleyan.
Krause most recently served as Franklin College's assistant coach. In 2021–2022, he assisted in leading the team to the HCAC Conference title and a NCAA tournament berth. Franklin also won the HCAC Conference championship in 2020–21, but the COVID–19 epidemic forced the cancellation of the NCAA tournament.
Krause attended the University of Florida from 2014 to 2019 before going to Franklin. Krause participated in basketball while attending Florida. He first served as a student manager, then was added to the squad as a walk-on, and then received a full scholarship. Krause was a part of two 20-win seasons and two NCAA tournament squads during his playing career. Krause earned both a master's degree in sport management and a bachelor's degree in communications.
